Bit of a sleep in Corzza?

Something like that. Got in at 7am, fiddled and farted around and the next thing I look up and its 10:45

Day 1 of wife free holiday..

Woke at 5:20 and only worked till midday..

I need more practice at this 'Holidays'thing..

On that note my trusty headphones met an unfortunate fate involving a set of plane steps and a 90kg bloke..

What sort of Noise cancelling over ear headphones are you lot using and would you rate them?

Just tried a set of beats by dre studio headphones.. They were nice to wear... Decent sound..

Bose QC15's if you're after noise cancelling - only thing I would buy off Bose

Can go Beats if you want anyone who's not a teenager laughing at you - or really only listen to the target genre (probably same standard/quality as headphones 1/3 to 1/2 the price)

I have Sennheiser HD-429's... not a top of the line one, but pretty decent for entry level pricing (less than $100). Quite comfortable and don't get too hot. I use them pretty much all day when I'm in the office.

If you get decent headphones noise cancelling is less important. Go try a set of Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's.

no cheap ones "cancel" out noise... hardly any expensive ones can manage that, either... if you turn up the volume, some is going to leak out.

I find the ones I mentioned to be quite acceptable in terms of volume and lack of sound escaping... you can also turn the volume down low and hear what others are saying if you need to, without actually taking the headphones off your head. :)

If you want to spend more... well... I won't stop you haha

Agree totally there - if he has a need to the N/C though (flies often, wife won't shut up etc) then the Bose set are unbeatable.

If there's no need for the N/C then there's a whole world of options depending on price, music and personal preferences.

That is unfortunate!

I just use the ones I got with my HTC, pretty damn good units
