With suspension work and slicks it would be pretty close at a track like EC with a rider like stoner. As far as a straight line goes most late model 1000cc sports bike are capable of high 9s over the 1/4 with a gun rider and that's a standard road bike. LU82 Bronze Donating Members 569 Member For: 11y 9m 16d Posted 02/03/14 12:32 PM Share Posted 02/03/14 12:32 PM Aus superbikes pretty much start off as a standard road bike then they remove all the road gear and fit race glass, upgrade suspension and slicks as well as full exhaust ( im not sure what the rules are as far as enging work goes but if any I think its minimal)Then you have world super bikes which have more work done to them and after that its gp bikes whick are completly different to the road going cbr1000.
