I've only seen that happen once but it failed the slump test so we rejected the batch thank god..No, all we would have been able to do is trowel in cement and create a fake finish. The slab itself may not ever come up to strength and may have to be pulled up. At 6pm (it was in and screened by 10) could still sink your fingers in. On my way now to see it'll I can get a finish in it.

That's cause everyone who's smart is at the golf course already..and Henz.. That sucks.. Least the provider of your concrete should be liable for the costs if you've gotta pull the slab.. (Doesn't really help you for the extra time you need to find to redo it)..

Anyway, I get to the station this morning, and the platform is packed. Train pulls up, and people are already having to stand. Figure the one before it had been cancelled. Everyone pushes their way onto the train, like its a can and they're sardines. I decided to wait for the next train, because I can get claustrophobic on packed trains. Next train showed up 2 minutes later, and there were more empty seats than taken ones lol. Glad I waited.

I usually try and get on a train earlier than the one I need, so that I can have a stress free trip in. Leaving work is a different story, as the bus to the station doesn't run often enough, so I have to stand (the next bus after the one I usually get is more packed). But I don't feel safe doing it. It's illegal not to wear a seatbelt in a car, but it's ok to stand on a bus? How does that even make sense? For the most part though the train has been the easier option. I'm surprised. I thought I'd hate it.
