Head gasket

fk hope not

Yellow sludge in the oil would be water (coolant) in the crankcase. Could mean a split water gallery, head gasket etc. All of these causes mean that coolant will be chewed up at a noticeable rate.

If it's not losing coolant, the PCV system may have failed and it's not venting any at all. Cheapest fix.

If the car only does short commutes and has for a long time then yellow sludge could just be condensation. A good long drive will fix that (1hr+), as long as the PCV system is working.

I did top up the coolant, but wasnt stupid low or anything.

yer the car does about 10-15 mins max one way drive.

Throw Chemiweld in it Freaky.... $hit fixes everything!!!

hahah might have to

Take it for a long drive Trent. Hit some long hills and watch the temp gauge.

Otherwise pressure test or exhaust test for head gasket.

is changing a head gasket hard?
