I know a guy who owns 4 eagle boys on the Sunshine Coast, his wife, son & daughter work full time running them and they don't seem to be raking it in. Last time I spoke to him 6 months ago he said if it would be easier to go back to work but he doesn't like working for people.

(shopping centres).

That all certainly sounds draconian but in return you get excellent trading conditions and it’s in everyone’s interest for you to do well.

Dont get me started on them.....

Worlds largest bane on society, Fck shopping centres and all they stand for....Give me the old shopping street/mall any time.

Nothing is ever good enough :verysad:

Cheers for the feedback Henz. Have heard a few stories like that about Eagle Boys and their stores in Brisbane seem to close and move around a fair bit.

Probably best to go with the american brand <queue another Bufabond rant>

Pazz's mum makes a great pizza.

Total Tools is a franchise company. Costs about $1mil to get going, but I think the fees charged are quite low for a franchise company. Our stores have to comply to national catalogues, but they're free to run their own sales events as well, and outside of our best selling products, they're free to stock whatever they want.

One of our store owners has 4 stores now, and plenty more are investing in a second and third store.

We're looking into ways to bring the setup cost down.

Franchises can be a good thing if you buy into the right one. If that's the path you're looking into, then make sure their ways suit you. You don't want to end up part of one that conflicts with your way of doing business.
