Actually in truth I reckon politicians shouldn't be allowed to make promises regarding roads or any major infrastructure.. Calliope Crossroad on the Bruce is a prime example.. They promised the public 45million to grade separate the two highways (Dawson and Bruce).. Then asked us how much it would cost.. Well major gas and Telstra services.. I can build my own homes... one every 2 years without a builders licence as long as work is carried out by licensed trades people...licence is just a formailty from what I can tell ... I could do the course through a builders association and get the licence all in one but its under $200 to apply for it on your own accord in SA or an extra $2000 to do the course through an independent place as opposed to tafe etc.the course inst like a weekend thing freeze ,,, its 12 months for a cert 4 then 2 years for a diploma... ive played around since I was a kid with building plans and crap it interests me on a weird levelmust admit id like to one day maybe be a home designer/planner/ architectSounds alright..
