hey freaky, all the advice regarding wireless routers/AP's has been good so far. but seriously, just go into harvey norman and grab whatever you are willing to spend. They will all do the job for you.

P.S. Go buy the mostest expensivest wireless router you can possibly find!! Who cares if the hardware in your computers can't utilise it!! You can be cool by saying "My wirless cost $BIG"

Unless u are networking between computers there is no point getting the fastest. A basics modem has 54Mbps, if u are on ADSL2+ the absolute max u would get is 20Mbps. Most ppl get around the 3-6 mark. Plus if u are serious about networking u would only use cables. Wireless can only transmit 1 way. It can't upload and download at the same time. So I say just buy a basic modem from any of the usual shops.

Dual band wireless N can.

Freaky, I have a Netcomm 300mbps wireless router and I stream bluray MKV files to my wireless bluray player. Even fast forward and rewind works. I'm talking 10GB files no problem.
