You fellas would have creamed at 10gbps.Too fast for hdd. That is crazy fast, lol. We're slowly upgrading the backbone at each of our sites in our Region to 1Gbps and they all have fibre from the street for our WAN. I'm pretty sure our backbone at head office would be more than 10Gbps, all traffic from across the state is sent there where the filter is and we have almost 1.5 million users. That speedtest was using my internet connection that the datacentre we own gives us. So basically it's unlimited quota with a 100/100mb connection. I work for a company that leases space at Datacentres (Datacom we're called) for things like cloud and general storage, backup, email exchanges etc.Lol, awesome job. They're really good speeds. The other one we've been given for "downloading firmware updates" which is unmonitored and 100/100mb. Needless to say I'm constantly on that connection lol.I have a computer ................its a lap top thingo

Not much point going higher while the ISP backbones are only 10Gbps. I read about that 100Gbps trial in the US. They were going to lay more undersea cables as part of it.I have a computer ................its a lap top thingoThe smarty's are the ones who make your "lap top thingy" useful to you
