OK Time to bore you all with some details...

XC Cleveland block that has been concreted and sleeved. Clevo's are renowned for splitting bores.

Hi Energy 8 ltr oil pan with hi-volume oil pump.

Ford Yates alloy heads, the ones banned from use in NASCAR, I bought these 2nd hand off a fellow who made 602hp without touching them. I have had these heads ported by a well known machinist in Sydney. DJR roller rockers and push rods.

Stroker crank to 386 ci. Full external balance.

Eagle rods, Ross blower pistons, Crow cam with "unknown" specs. The cam may change after the engine dyno.

Active Performance intake manifold, Custom extractors and exhaust (yet to be finalised).

Vortech J trim supercharger capable of running 28psi, but currently only planning to run 15psi. Front mounted aluminium intercooler and 3 1/2in intake piping. 3 blow off valves (one open at idle, 2 open at gearchange) Yes, plonky, they are very noisy!

Full Haltech E6S programmable fuel injection system, 8 x 13b Turbo fuel injectors, SX Fuel pump and pressure regulator. May have to run C16 when im giving it a hard time, but I plan on running PULP on the street.

Final power figures are unknown, as nobody to our knowledge has built a motor like this. My engine builder has given me some rough estimates, but im keeping them quiet until I have definite figures from Dave Handley. Am hoping we will have the motor in the engine dyno around July. Considering the heads have made 602 hp already, and im ramming 15psi down them as well, it should be interesting.....

And the cost? Tens of thousands! And rising!

Will keep you all informed of figures when we get them.

Sorry bout keeping it on topic Ken!

I've made an educated calculation on the Scotty CCC guestrometer using all the supplied data & come up with 911 horsepower, or was it because I was watching Law & Order at the same time, you choose

Rod length please? The motors not yours.

Scotty CCC
