The earth went through a couple ice ages no worries, a warm spell isn't gunna be that bad either. I hate winter anyway

Point being though it isn't happening, it's cooler at the moment than it has been (in some places for more than a century) and even the ski resorts opened early this year.

Or is that caused by global warming?

How true all of the comments in this thread have become.

I am ALWAYS suspicious when narrow goal groups shout their message loud and ridicule any other discussion. Narrow minded zealots rather than consider likely/possible alternatives- zealots and dogma.....always a bad recipe. It is now believed by the "non believer scientists" that the level of radiation activity from the sun is a more likely cause. The level of radiation over the entire earth has to be a contributing factor one would think??????? Then there's the CFC's taking their toll on the ozone layer for the next 70 years or so. The sun's "activity" apparently correlates well with the temperature variations on earth by geologists. Increased radiation would also help explain melanoma rates etc???

The fact they have gone from GW to CC says it all....a fall back position if ever there was one.

It would also suit Joooylia as they have created their budgetry black hole and rather than show some fiscal rigour, will run around trying to find new ways to fill it.
