Th 2800rpm convertor wont be doing you any favours off boost. My 6 speed manual ute has 4.1's in it and in 1st and 2nd get around 6 pound at around 2800rpm. In 3rd and 4th i see 8 to 10 pound around 2500 rpm. Once it gets past six pound it boosts up to 15psi in the blink of an eye.if you want to get rid of the lag fit a hot side pipe kit, nizpro/process west/rapid pleum and pipe kit.that'l fix it Luke

The biggest problem with the 4.11's is maintaing traction in 1st and 2nd. Obviously wheel spin = less traction = less load = less boost. The marangoni's mytho's are really good at maintaning traction in second but i havent got around to looking at what boost its making at what rpm in second since fitting themEDIT:forgot to mention my car is tuned to come on pretty conservativly due to my smallish injectors and fuel pump. I could probably get more boost in lower if i did fit a surge tank and bigger squirts Edited 09/04/08 05:16 AM by hiddeous

Obsivouly it depends on mods, but lets say on a stock car with a simple custom tune. Can it be brought on at 3000rpm or 4000rpm by simply changing a few things around in the tune?
