Gday boys,

I am doing a Ford Cortina with a 4.0L turbo... I got the car and atm its getting sandblasted..

Just a question with the BA NON Turbo and BA Turbo engines.

What are the difference between them both???

not a great deal mate, the internals are both pretty weak, the rods look like pencils! Depending on how much you wanna push the power, it could be expensive or cheap!

Under 300rwkw, with good intake and exhaust parts - the stock internals "should" be ok, anything over that and its a case of how long is a piece of string!

Tell us a little bt more about your project - sounds cool

Stock cars with a simply tune get 300rwkw LoL

I would love to get around 480rwkw to 600rwkw...

I'll post up some photo's if people are keen...

It took 4eva to find a Cortina with a Windback but you should be back in 2 weeks from the sandblaster!!

sounds awesome mate - if you are goin for big power, try having a look at some complete engines like the Nizpro or Atomic engines - what sort of Turbo will you be using?
