Nobody else has done the R&D like Nizpro.Mick knows and he will look after you.Cheers Paul Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/44285-built-motors-whopriceoptions/#findComment-655913 Share on other sites

My engine is somewhere in the middle, its got some noise, but by no means is it the loudest forged engine I've ever heard - not by a long shot.what do you want to acheive with the build? are you going to push it to the limits or just after reliability?Oh and make sure you get billet oil pump gears! I didn't (they haven't popped) but I should've for peace of mindgood luck mate, but if you trust Pitlane, don't disrespect that trust! I'm helping a mate build his skyline at the moment, both myself and my mechanic mate have our engine machining done by a local engine shop and the cars make consistnt power with no problems at all - all for a mega good price. Our friend with the skyline has decided to ignore our recommendations and take the word of some bloke on the SAU forum and spend twice the money. We are over it now, and hope everything turns out well - cos we don't wanna pull the frikin engine out again! lolshe'll haul ass mate - go for it! He had a builder and package in mind, but I think I may have opened his eyes to a pretty good product that is allready out there at a fair price and with a warranty that can not be beaten. The more research he does, I'm sure he will come up with the same conclusions, that the Nizpro package is a great engine. It will handle a lot more power than most of us want and still be quiet in operation at the same time, which may not seem like a big deal to most people, but when a motor has noisey operation, it will trigger false signals to the knock sensors which will start to pull timing from the tune.He will be happy with it no matter where he chooses to get it fittedHey Paul, good catching up to you over the weekend and thanks for the kind words Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/44285-built-motors-whopriceoptions/#findComment-655982 Share on other sites
Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 19y 1m 2d Posted 08/04/08 11:02 AM Share Posted 08/04/08 11:02 AM The Nizpro engine is no doubt a great proven package, but at the end of the day as Senna T has pointed out there are other options available that will not cost you as much if you are intent on saving some coin. You do get what you pay for just all depends on what you really want out of the built motor, I.e power, noise, warranty etc and that will obviously effect the end price. Drop a couple house payments on the motor mate Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/44285-built-motors-whopriceoptions/#findComment-655988 Share on other sites
