Smoke them tyres Member 557 Member For: 17y 5m 10d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 12/04/08 01:38 PM Share Posted 12/04/08 01:38 PM I have been using Nulon for years and have had good experience with it: engine, pwr steering, gearbox, diff etc- never a bad experience. If you want to know more, check out their website and they also have a tech line that you can talk to.... very helpful. markxr6t Member 476 Member For: 20y 7m 2d Location: Perth WA Posted 12/04/08 01:56 PM Share Posted 12/04/08 01:56 PM I chucked some into the manual trans of an old clapped out BMW 3.0Si I once had. It made a definite difference in reducing noise and making shifts easier. Can't comment on its benefits in a modern manual trans in good condition though. Also can't see how it would add value to quality oil like Transmax Z??? ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 3m 17d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 12/04/08 10:02 PM Share Posted 12/04/08 10:02 PM We used to use it in our Sport Sedan racecar as a test one season. After 8 races we stripped the gearbox and it looked brand new, same for the diff.Normally we would do a full rebuild after a season, but it did not need it.I run Nulon in everything 4 stroke, but not the diff or gearbox stuff in my Turbos due to them being new. Trish Member 155 Member For: 18y 1m 26d Gender: Female Location: Victoria Posted 12/04/08 11:07 PM Share Posted 12/04/08 11:07 PM We have used Nulon in cars we would take to the track for years, also in a car purpose built for burnouts. Some weekends we would go through 8 sets of tyres and not have issues. Before using Nulon we would rebuild the box every few months. These were all older cars. I have never used it in newer cars or a turbo car. (About to try however) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/44250-anyone-used-this/#findComment-657958 Share on other sites
