But in that case they shouldn't try and feed you some bullsh*t like... it was your idler pulley or you didn't have enough oil or BA turbo valve springs are bulletproof. Charged me 50 bucks to qoute "unblock my windscreen washer bottle filter"!!!!!WTF... Apparently if you dont use your washers they grow fungie in the bottle & block up the filter & you then cant wash the window!!!!Worst of all its not covered under warranty!!!! How could this ever be my fault?? Mine started towards the end of a melb-coffs harbour-mel trip at around 80k from memory on a BA T. The only thing replaced under a very expensive extended warranty. It's most noisey when the car is in D or some kind of load even at a stand still. I put it in N and had a listen and yeap sure enough it was the pulley. I'll try source a metal one and replace it.
