Well we are on the way up.. Simons magic and the assistance of a 12psi pulley has seen us fall into the 400kw club..... Woohoo (405rwkw and 680-690nm torque)

Gotta say this engine we put together likes the extra boost. It feels like it is smoother and sort of tighter than it was with only 9psi.

Now I need to make some custom headers. The Pacemaker 4:1 ran out of puff (Nick at Midland exhaust is dreaming up the design now) We put a 15psi pulley on and only made 10kw more. Had to take out a heap of timing etc. The diagnosis was its not farting fast enough

I keep promising pics and vid and its coming soon.

Thanks to Xtreme, Bluepower, Midland Exhaust and anyone else I have forgotten.

The Beast is back

(now to get some tyres with grip...... Stuff the comfort :) )

after owning a Boss, I must say this must be fun to drive!

I mean the Turbo makes awesome low end torque, power and everything in between, but the boss with a centrifugal blower would give you that great top end rush.

get some vids up soon mate!

Holy crap John, well done!

I remember seeing this thing when you first got it, and it looks great, but now it goes like a shower of sh*t! must be verrry fun to drive!!

Thanks guys.... The engine is built to be very happy with around 14psi, so I think when its breathing we should see near 450rwkw.

And its a twin screw KB blower, Fordboy.

It goes like a cut snake, But inly if you want it to. If your nice to the right pedal she can be a baby to drive.

Anyway I should stop surfing the web and start getting some proper video edited for yas.

I have a couple of quick vids on the dyno and will try and get them up today.

Its raining today, and its a bit slow in the rain :)

Hi John

Good to hear things are going well. I've taken my supercharged Wasp to a similar level (over 400rwkw's) with 13psi and have also found the exhaust to be one of the area's we needed to review and develop in order to achieve more power and effeciency. With nothing much suitable on the market I had some headers fabicated as well as a beautiful free flowing exhaust system that sounds great. Wasn't cheap!! I didn't realise you had gone an built yourself a stronger motor. Love to know what magic Simon has done. Sorry I've been a little out of the loop.

PM me if you want to chat.
