ute wasn't running lean, had pretty much spot on 12 air/fuel and isn't backfiring but just runs out of fuel up top, valve springs have been done, RAPID- I realised after I should have changed the fuel filter, sillly hey, he told me after the pump goes in he will fix it up top on dyno for free so very luck there, casey auto in cranbourne did it, it's gettin the pump and fixed up tune in 2 weeks will let ya's know how I go , thanks boys

I asked this question at Nizpro when getting my work done, as I was happy to do the fuel pump at the same time, Dave said dont bother unless you want over 310 - 320rwkw, as the std one is fine. and to save my money. Mine wasnt anywhere near max duty at 280rwkw.

I guess its how the tuner works?

I guess it cant hurt, for peice of mind.

they are very inconsistent, I have seen 350rkws, and I have seen them give up at 250rwks,

it is normaly, the bypass in the pump that gives the trouble, but I have seen some pumps give up, at 300, even with the bypass upgraded.

a walbro is cheap insurance.
