just got my ute tuned with bigger injectors and they tell me that my stock pump is maxxed out at 240rwkw and need a bigger one, says he can open injector cycle to 100% after 4800rpm and just can't get any more fuel out of them, I was under the impression they were good for heaps more, have I got a dud or could it be something else, utes got cat, wog cooler, bigger injectors, 2nd cai, any ideas? :buttrock:

It doesnt surprise me mate, mine maxed out around that power too if not less, ended blowing the thing up on a makeshift tune. Got the walboro, retuned, good as new!

It should sort it out, when he was tuning was the car running lean or backfiring? The only other problem you may run into is your Valve springs, if you have an early model T then they are more likely to float, hence not holding boost.

So it was being tuned with an old fuel filter??

If your going to spend large $$ on tuning, its a good idea to first put in a new fuel filter... a new filter may have been all it needed to go 300.

But also, doing the pump is a smart move regardless, hope the tune comes out well.
