Now if someone was to make a few of these crazy dose pipes, would poeple want to buy them??

Ive got a shelf load of does pipes in differnet lengths, diameters, bends that I was mucking around with... all stupidly loud too!

would you still get a dose in a enclosed airbox? id buy one of you for sure but id need to wait tilli have enough for the cold sipe pipin n intercooler

I dont k would want to do this. I thought that the idea was to make all induction air as cool as posible. a pod in the engine bay would be sucking extramly warm air. why own a turbo car and do mods to make it perform worse?

Yes, these intakes cause heaps of lag due to the hot air... but some folks just like the noise

Yes, Ive done some 3inch intakes into an airbox (similar to my 4inch intake/airbox kit) and you still get the same sort of noises

I have seen somone at wsid with a 90 off the turbo and a hole in the bonnet with a pod sticking out on top of the bonnet.

As I said in my first post, it's just purely for noise. I just wanted to hear something different.

I might try the dose pipe just to see what it's like tomorrow. Might put it on for a cruise for a laugh. Most people's cars are tuned anywayz, no need for maximum performance. It did spool quicker though!

My car was tuned with my dose pipe as that's how I wanted to drive my car, and even with the dose pipe we had no heat soak every run was between 330-338.

yes it may be a little laggy but the power makes up for that anyway so no real dramas.

It is loud but im not sure the average person would like it but hey I do.
