This should be Ford's responsibility to fix. Simply saying "your warranty expired 1 year ago, too bad" is absolute rubbish. A turbo should out last the engine if it's been serviced regularly.

Turbo's failing at less than 100,000 kms is not common place! (only in Ford's of course)

Get a solicitor and see what they have to say, as much as I love the guys on here, none of us are legal experts. Shooting of in a forum may make you fell better but it wont resolve the issue.

To all of you who would just give up on something like this, im letting you know that ford has settled the matter and could not argue with the fact that the wrong oil was being used in the car.

Matter settled now happy with the outcome.
