Jus tseeing if anyone has had the problem of no oil getting to the turbo.

Just befor xmas the oil feed line to the turbo blocked up and the turbo ran dry and

melted the bearings.

Fighting with ford to reimburse replacement.

Anyone had this problem?

Any problems with Peter Warren Ford Warwick Farm recently.

I need help.

There has been endless talk about this. Those screens are stupid and kill more turbos than they save. that's no good mate. Make sure that they replace it as its their fault. Remove the screen after for god sake, and it has happened to others on here someone will but in soon.

OK - has your car been serviced by PW? has the correct oil lways been used? How old is the car?

I'm in two minds about this - but I work at Peter Warren, not in service, but in sales. If all the servicing has been done with us and the car is still in warranty, you should get a new turbo - also, is it modified?

There my local Ford service and Senna above will be of more help, though after several goes at fixing my creaking suspension they failed, when all it required was some grease. Generally Ford service and warranty claiming is a never ending BS battle.

Good luck with it and hope you are still in your warranty period otherwise dont bother.

I.B.

exactly, if the warranty is finshed then you are on your own, if you can tell us more about your car and situation - we may be able to help further

I totally agree with Buf-Hoon, but if he wants help, then I need the facts! you know the old forum motto "you play, you pay"

as I said before, tell me more about the situation so I have a case to plead to the service guys!

BALLBREAKER - sorry mate, I can't comment! :innocent:

No mods carried out at all. Car is stock.

Warranty ran out about 1 and half years ago.

Nobody wanted to hear about it until I threatened further action now they want to mediate.

Its just not fair how this works.
