mate I was bidding like crazy on Ebay to win that FPV POD. The day it got delivered and I tried to put 52mm gauges in the POD is clearly too big!

Unless and im not sure of this they messure the gauge from the face instead of the actually body of the gauge that fits into the POD.

I have gone with 3 x Defi Blue Racer gauges for my tripod..

Boost

Oil Pres

Oil Temp

had to order them from the states and the price wasn't too bad considering the strong Aussie dollar, they are being shipped now as they have been out of stock for two weeks(seem pretty damn popular over there) ill post some pics when the arrive.. I few guys on here are already rocking them though :)

For the stock fpv item id go with with defi Boost & Oil Temp or Pres :bopp:

The external measurement of the FPV gauge pods is 58mm, so they will need a 54-56mm gauge to fit. I have had a hell of a time trying to find some or to get some some common sesnse out of anyone over here in WA WA land. Does anybody of know of any electric blue background lighten boost and oil pressure gauges available in Aus that will fit straight into the factory pods. No I don't want a gauge comparo, or to go for a triple gauge setup. Any distributor name would be appreciated.

Cheers

I got Mech Boost, and Oil Pressure Electronic all mounted in a FPV gauge holder with the glass and binnacals on the front looks factory with the cobalts looks tops

If ya want photos let me know they are 52 mm gauges and they fit perfect in there

I think ull find Defi and any jap gauges have a 60mm diameter in most cases there are ribs inside the pod will sit the autometer in there nice.

Just fitted OZgauge to my sons car 3 pod they have a large bezel 58mm but that is still not wide enough to cover the external diameter of the std fpv pod which is 60.2mm. The fpv pod is ribbed internally at 52.5mm diameter. The bezel of the FPV gauges clips onto the front of the std gauge which is made by VDO. Interesting enough I had a vdo gauge in the shed and it fits straight in and the bezel clips straight on . So maybe try VDO. I was going to do the same as you but pole position 3 pod are $105 at the moment so I bought one, and I like old school so Iam fitting autometer gauges. If you want blue the cobalt ones are nice. Try thisgauges

Hey arronm, thanks for your help. VDO don't do an electronic boost gause and I can't justify wasting money for the cobalt ones @$350 each. I'll spend whatever to make the car go better, but gauge shops seem to be full of people who have very litle product knowledge and want to charg rediculous amounts of money. I think I'll wait for my next US trip to bother about this one as I was really only doing it for the looks no gauge setup is worth $1000+ when you already have factory ones anyway IMHO, I wasted a day on this I thought it should be easier enough to just buy 2 better quality exchange units that went straight in. Isn't idealism a great thing. :bangcomputer::buttrock:
