If you hunt around the forums you will find plenty of information on our NAs. Most people start with a 2.5'' mandrel bent exhaust or a second hand turbo exhaust, headers (most common, pacemakers 9940 or 9945comps) and if you have got a BA; a new hi-flow cat.Go for a K&N or equivalent air filter with a F6 lower intake, underdrives are proving very good among NAs offering good gains/$ ratio (next on my list, keep a ear out NOS) and get it all tuned up with a flash tuner and as nos said, custom tunes are a must.As I said before hunt around the NA section and you are sure to find alot of information. Not taking away any credit from fordxr6turbo.com but fordforums.com.au have quite a resourceful N/A section.Let the fun begin! The DYI stuff on Bserise is amazing.

Guest Guests Posted 29/03/08 05:45 AM Share Posted 29/03/08 05:45 AM (edited) I sold my N/A XR6 about 8 weeks ago, wish I didn't. Some times wishing for heaps of power and trying to get there is better than having it, strange.Theres nothing for me to mod now, Con will be lifting the boost next week for the 500 rwkw mark, I'm looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong I love haveing 400 rwkw on tap as a street tune, but getting 20 extra Kw out of an N/A was a far bigger challenge.
