Real nice way to welcome a new member to the forum, why don't you just cut to it and tell him he's cars crap?

Welcome Timmi,

Theres heaps you can do for under 2 monkeys.

In fact for that kind of money up can pick up some real power.

Is your exhaust 2.5 inch?

Do you have headers yet?

The headers that I found worked best for my old N/A XR6 are the Pacemaker Comp ones 4495 is their code, ebay has them for about $500 but you may find them cheaper if you ask around.

The 4495 will get you 13 to 14 rwkw extra but its almost all top end power.

An edit flash tuning box is worthless unless you have a custom tune done as well. Look around this forums mate C&V sell them cheap but theres heaps of other places you can get one from, I got 14 rwkw extra with a custom tune for my old car.

20% Underdrive is good for 9 rwkw (disclamer, I sell them so ask the other guys here about the under drive) This is one of the cheapest mods around, at only $215 for the part.

With all 3 performance mods you'll sport about 180 rwkw close to the same as a stock BA XR6T. You will not have the torque of the XR6T but the performance (if you have an auto) is about the same.

So there you have it, you don't need to sell your Falcon after all, just keep an ear out for info from guys who have been there and know what they are talking about.

Keep in mind if you spend as much as $3500 on the performance of your car you can get it into the 13s as many have. (but you'll need an auto to get there)

Good Luck and again welcome

tell him about the nos.

you know u want to.

Ha ha ha..........only the real C&V Performance cars get to run NOS.

Well the old toy had a 125 dry shot and was good for 248 rwkw on the dyno, but it was always a bit of a dyno queen, that said it was a lot of fun out on the r#&d (can't say that).

It gave curry to more than one or two GT's and F6's in its day.

I miss that car.

Stickesr and lots of them, stripes as well stripes are always good. Should get a stripe and sticker combo package for under a grand and shoukld give you heaps of bragging rights and about 100 rwkw extra. Just think of the fun you could have at the pub with the Grand you did not spend.

Greg, understand that this is a primarily a Turbo Forum and full of piss takers at that. :stirthepot:

What you have recommended is based on your extensive experience with this particular NA 6 motor ,and that very few, if anyone else on here is in a position to offer a lot of better advise.

My suggestion is to not take the "humorously intended posts "too seriously as they are tongue in cheek. The last thing we want to do is remove ALL the fun for members or we all should go to other forums.

That said keep up the contributions because very few of us T people are going to be able to give Tmmi a decent steer in the right direction.

Cheers

Jewels

Hey Nos XR, I obviousely touched a raw nerve, that was not my intent, what you have done with an NA is a credit to you and your advice was right on the money. Sorry for comming across as an abnoxious turbo owner.
