That's cool. So I can basically run the CAI and not require a tune. (Mine is stock as far as I'm aware, I've not touched it at least, and the car was stock when bought).

I'd heard somewhere I'd have to tune it, can't remember if it was from a friend or somewhere online.

Kinda spewing I bought the K&N Panel filter today then haha, ah well, I'll leave it with the stock airbox for now.

With regard to the vacuum hose. It appears to be fairly long, do I just cable tie it to something to keep it off of things/out of the way after putting a screw and hose clamp on it?
And out of interest, what does the vacuum hose do?

You will see my pics on page 2 of what I did...but worth a read of whole thread if you have time

And I have NFI what the vacuum hose does? Lol probably something to tell the bov when to vent? IDK :P

Used a flat end screw. I'm honestly not sure there's reason to put a clamp on it, considering there's no clamp on the BOV etc. If it was going to blow it out the end or something which I don't think it will there'd be a clamp on the bov too.
The screw is in there securely though, doesn't seem to be any issues, but will keep an eye on it.
