I think you will need the filter as mentioned earlier. Otherwise, you risk dirt and grit getting through to the precious turbo....

did this cheap mod on sunday. I blocked off the smaller pipe of the crossover and so far blocked the other side on the BOV with a chair stopper thingy with a 5mm hole in it... ill be replacing this with a Monza filter I bought today. I also reconnected the smaller hose (vac hose?) should I plug this up with a screw as well?

so far I get some tut tut tut tut after spooling up but it so faint and can only here it when windows up and audio off. I have also notice a slight bit more turbo lag but just enough to notice. My car is stock all way but I am purchasing a K & N filter this week.

Am I doing anything wrong?

this is wat my setup is

after adding the K&Nfilter and the Monxa filter the flutter it kinda louder but not loud enough to here from outside...... mite change it bak soon annoying me the sound is a bit but cant reconise performance change. does seem slightly longer for boost but I dont mind.....

dont want to seem like a f*cking spanna but have to ask... my set up looks the same as ford powa

so I guess I havnt blocked the vac line... anyone got pics on best way to block it???

shudnt need any pics mate pull the little hose off the top of your bov an then chuck a screw in it turn your car on if u can feel/here it suckin bigger screw/bolt
