Had to do a little improvisation for connecting the filter to the bov (cut the bottom out of one of the rubber chair stoppers and used the rubber ring made to bridge the gap between the filter and the bov, then clamped it, please note the clamp is not on in the picture) but pretty sure I got it right. If I have done anything wrong, happy to hear suggestions.Images here for others with FG's. Hope it helps.*updated image links. sorry havent been in for a while*
XrSexc Member 47 Member For: 14y 8m 26d Posted 26/11/10 07:17 AM Share Posted 26/11/10 07:17 AM So I did this on my BF XR6 turbo auto. All I get is a soft 'Pppsshhh. None of this 'Ppssshhtuttututtu' sound. Did I do it right? 1. I just blocked off the short wide hose at the back of the crossover with a 25mm stopper. That's the only hose I blocked off. 2. The long wide hose that comes from the front of the crossover, and then underneath to reconnect with the BOV, I did just that, reconnect with the BOV. 3. I put a small breather/pod filter on the large opening of the BOV that was usually connected to the short and wide hose, so basically I moved the BOV back to front.4. I reconnected the short and thin hose to the little nipple on the BOV and connected that back to the original gold looking pipe where it was from stock (This is the vacuum hose right?).So, did I do the right thing? It just doesn't sound that loud? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

XrSexc Member 47 Member For: 14y 8m 26d Posted 26/11/10 08:44 AM Share Posted 26/11/10 08:44 AM hehe I'm just trying something different. I followed it all the way. Although I must say, it was fairly bland when it came to specific details. I guess once I pulled the crossover off, saw everything, I started putting the pieces together. But it is fairly quite, and it only gives off a short sneeze. I actually don't mind it, as I can control when it comes on or off (as my car being auto). I just thought it would have been a lot louder?

But if you want it real loud you'll want an aftermarket BOV and a bucket load more boost.
