Stats are in....... according to my dash after 37000 my girl is sitting on 9.8(Ive done 12k in 3 months)

179 kms per day to work from Maitland to Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast and blasting around Newcastle now and again.

Like to see any local V8 beat that and have the stock grunt I have....

Mmm...I've got the F6 Tornado with 370+ on the rears, and it ain't to bad.

Highway, with cruisecontrol active, it will be around 8.4l/100km at 100kph, and around 8.7 at 110kph. Around town, scary.

Evening All,

I have a BF MKII T and was a little put out by the apparant consumption from the guage when I got it - I have kept records myself and the numbers are high also. Just done 53k and have had the car for 3 months. Just had a significant service done and changed the exhaust system. After the first tank since the work there seems to be 20% improvement!?! Too early to tell I know, however quite encouraging. As most people know the exhuast system is generic for all models where possible and not optimised for the turbo. I'll post again as I have more data.

Cheers

I have just purchased my FG XR6 T, and currently have 280km on the clock, the car is sitting at 19.1 Im not to fussed because I know it should drop when I fill my first tank up and reset it. All that stop and start driving from the factory up and down trailers, it has to pump up the digits. Ill post another comment in about a month and hopfully some better news. All the best for chrissy and new year!

First trip in the FG XR6T, without the tools and canopy, was this Xmas. 10000Km on clock, 1000Km trip, 9.6L/100. I am happy with that. Followed the misses in the BA N/A, on the trip, and the BA got 9.8L/100.

I don’t know how anyone is getting 13-14-even 15L/100kms in metro driving in an XR6T??? You guys must be driving like grand grand grand mothers!! I don’t consider myself to be thrashing my XR6T by any means; I usually change in the low 3,000 rev range & currently get around at about 16.5L/100km out of mine... I've only done about 1700km on it since new, does it get better after more km driven or is this the best I should expect?
