my ba stocker is using around 19.4 around town and iv had it down to 9.8 on the free way..

Time for a tune. I have 315 rwkw and gitting it a bootfull from just about every stop is yielding less than 16 city and 10 highway.

Here we go again. This topic comes up nearly as much as the colour wars.

does it really matter how many times a topic comes up? its a forum its designed for users to communicate between each other. If it annoys you dont click on it!

Am I the only one with fuel consumption going up after a custom tune??? Even when driving sensibly.

Mine has - only a tiny bit.

Based on all the data I have, I've gone up about 0.75 L/100KM.

that's probably because its far more fun to drive ;)

I always get about 13L per 100, others get closer to 20L per 100 and beyond but I just read in a car magazine that a Boeing 747 gets 1200L per 100K.

Faaaaaaaaark me!

Something weird just happened to my fuel consumption.

The car is just a couple of months old and I was getting used to average city consumption of mid 16s to low 17s. Over the last couple of days it's suddenly started plummeting. Today it dropped down to 14.9 while average speed is only 31kmh :pimp:

Is this a Ford tuning thing that at around 4,500km they start leaning the mixture out a little ?
