19.1l/100km is normal for city driving

If I mix some freeways it drops to 14's

Thanks guys, just making sure there's nothing wrong with my new phoon, I must admit im pretty dissapointed though. There not the besy on fuel but in all honesty that's the only thing I can fault with the car, the rest is awesome. Im going to get a flash tuner soon just one off the shelf, will this help with fuel?

Hi mate, how many klms do you have on it?

I have averaged 15.2 over the 4200 klms I have done....I hope this improves a bit.

I understand some tunes are better on fuel than the factory tunes.

Around town nana driving ( Sydney ) usually around 14 - 15 L per 100 km

Around town with a bit of louting a tank can be gone in less than 300ks :censored:

Long haul highway with a few bursts ie Sydney to Brisbane under 10 L per 100 km which is pretty damned good

better than factory and my tune is on the rich side

all depends on the tune and how you drive it , overall if you want great fuel economy do not buy a Phoon/T

New cars consume a LOT more petrol because it takes a while for the engine to seal properly. Typically you'll be getting a LOT better mileage after you get it past the 12,000 - 15,000 mark

Ouch, that's 10 mpg.. You must be living large in that car around town, old son.

But if it makes you happy, it`s your money isn`t it? :)

Hi

Had my BF Typhoon for a couple of months now.

worst fuel consumption would be about 12.5 L/100 which is about 520km with a mix of highway and city.

Best has been 9.6 L/100 on a trip to benella with a little bit of running around in between, got 650km out of that one.

All of this done taking it easy with the occasional squirt.

Car has done about 50,000km

Cheers
