Dont think your o2 sensor is going to help you at all mate, the range usually calculates itself so with abit of thrashing & not filling tank to maximum from time to time, these factors will confuse its attempt to work out your range

How do you loosen a rounded head? it has lost its hexagonal shape. Sprayed some WD40, hopefully loosens overnight

sct911 Member 848 Member For: 12y 1m 19d Gender: Male Posted 28/06/13 10:03 AM Share Posted 28/06/13 10:03 AM managed to install new o2 sensor ,average fuel economy has improved by 2-3 L/100km with same driving style. now sits at 14 in city instead of 16-17110 000km old o2 sensor was sluggish to respond , thus consuming more fuel. Note: dont try changing sensor while engine is warm(stupid me). Put a few ice cubes ontop, it came loose pretty easy
#96 Member 281 Member For: 12y 29d Posted 28/06/13 01:15 PM Share Posted 28/06/13 01:15 PM I sit, on average, at about 15.1L/100kms (reset each tank fill), but have a fairly short trip to work, and, well, with a freeway on ramp at 6am, the traffic is clear, and the air cold, how could I not...have had it average 18-19L/100kms for a tank load before... whoops.sliiiiiightly of topic, but can anyone here their fuel pup sucking air with still 50-60kms to go?doesn't seem right, doesn't surge, defiantly will last another 50kms, so its got around 7-8L at minimum still in the tank.... ? Yep, I sure can ,not sure if normal. Once with only 20km left till emtpy I was driving it like I stole it and the bubbles/sucking air got pretty loud that I thought I broke something. Put the car in P, was still loud. To this day I can still hear the pump when near empty. My cars a stock fg Edited 28/06/13 01:24 PM by sct911
