However, if you use WOT, you will use more fuel than you currently do due to the extra power (which requires more fuel).

Much better economy day to day, bonus of extra power when needed or want to play. Best thing with these, especially a tuned FG, is having all the torque available very early on means you can get off the line smartly without really needing to use much throttle. Even with a little spirited driving I am more than happy with my fuel usage. My tuned VZ LS1 with usual supporting mods and 250rwkw, same type of trips(mostly short), similar amount of kms/year, similar amount of spirited driving(probably a bit less than the G6E as the turbo is more addictive) was getting usually around 15-17l/100km. The G6ET gets 12-14l/100km and is pretty easy to get, don't need to really try, had to really baby the VZ to get anywhere near 13-14.Even if I was getting 15+ I'd be still be happy, especially considering pretty much all my driving is short trips. For the power these things deliver the fuel ecomony is awesome. To be honest I was babying it but still good results for a car that has only done 800km's.Excellent results for a large family car - good driving too! I was doing 8.0l/100km at 120km/h today on the freeway for a minute to see what I would get. I am pretty sure that it was like 10l/100km previously.
