to me it seems that you blokes and girls should be driving 4cyl, if you are worried about fuel economy. im pretty sure most members on here don't buy or mod there cars to get fuel economy. one week I will get 300ks then 450ks but I don't stress bout it, if you want to save money sell your car and buy a fiesta or focus ford have really good deals on them at the moment. simple we don't buy these cars for there fuel economy.

I'm now modified and drove up the west coast for a holiday, temp was in the 30s but didn't use AC (windows down). Filled her up on BP98 in the city, after we got there 1/4 of a tank gone on the needle and 222.2kms on trip meter. 110 most of the way there.

Take that GMH, I can do 900k's to a tank on a highway too :)

When you're driving 800km a week you want some decent economy...

Got mine to about 10L/100km driving Springwood to Faulconbridge (Great Western highway). Which I reckon is pretty decent considering the stop start BS it involves (60, 70, 80, 70, 60, 80, 70, 90, 70, 100, 80, and so on...). Loving the cruise control! (good behaviour bond will do that...)
