old rev head Member 17 Member For: 14y 9m 14d Posted 09/02/10 03:18 AM Share Posted 09/02/10 03:18 AM I have a BF 2 XR6T and I give mine a fair bit of stick round town and in the last 2000 klms it shows 14.2 per 100 klms. I would say yours is well and truly using to much fuel, take it back to the dealer and complain.

Using 98 octaine did 200ks on an eighth of a tank. When I hit the 150 k mark range still said I had 540+ks to go. For a big 6 with a turbo, farking tops!!380ks for 34 litres

Yes yes, I know it's a turbo and I should be expecting high fuel usage.. I'm just curious and want to compare if my driving habits are top heavy or not as this is my first big car, let alone big car with turbo K's done so far: 300Fuel ave/100: 18.4LMain type of driving: city, no highwaysKojI travel from Sunshine Coast to Bris and return each day and am averaging 9.8 lp 100kms...I drive steady but give it some snot when I want that seat press...Split is about 75% highway 25% city which is VERY SLOW...Using 98 octane

On normal city driving and not being shy it sits around 11.8L/100kms. Not bad for over 400rwkw's.Be interesting to see how much that changes with the new Process West fuel rail and fuel tube being added shortly. Im sure the -8 lines will eat the fuel up.
