bf2 xr6t:

On a 1700km highway trip, with an average speed of 134km/h, it managed a respectable 11.5L/100 with two blokes, lots of full-throttle overtaking (for fun factor only) and a few runs into some higher numbers that will not be disclosed here...

I dropped it back to 106km/h for the last leg (came back to civilisation) and it came down to 10.2L/100km... all on the 10psi tune. As I only just picked it up, I have had a lot of requests from mates to show them what its got, so its first week was a fair bit of hard driving around town. Its only averaged 20.8L/100.... hehe.

So, numbers are not too bad for a generic CV tune. Once I learn self-control and stop planting the right-foot, they should improve dramatically.

Over the last 3000kms I have averaged 12.3L/100kms. That with giving it a bit, hardly any freeway stuff and just country roads! I think it's pretty impressive.

My first 2000kms in the F6 have netted an average 17.1L/100kms... On my first drive though (200kms) on the freeway, just me, sitting on 110kph I was getting just under 10L/100km which is awesome... I think part of the problem is I only get to drive her 2-3 days every fortnight so I'm compelled to put the boot in... :stirthepot:

My XR6T BF MK 1 APS Phase 1.5 (minus exhaust) 265rwkw consumption is at 10.0 l/100km - prior to mod (thanks Autotech) was running mid 12's consumption but it just seems to get better on fuel - unbelievable - fair bit of freeway driving (hume hwy) but have a heavy right foot - go figure !

FG XR6T 6A - 3080km old.

Avg is 10.3l/100km over past 3 tanks. Avg speed is high at 60kph as I don't travel far to get onto the Gateway and then pacific hwy for the daily commute.

I'm suprised how frugal it is, however I struggle to find places where you can really stay hard on the throttle for long. I'm attached to my licence.

My FG XR6T 6A is nearly on 4000kms. Worst economy I got had been 350kms from a tank (the day I picked it up, was giving it heaps all day...lol). Best is 650kms on a trip to Bundy.

Hi all I have an FG XR6T with 3000 on the clock and I get about 14ltr avg I have a heavy right foot so I am happy with that. I live in Mel so I do a lot of city driving. on one tank I got it down to 9.6ltr but that was too hard to do lol.

I been driving mine what I would say - in the middle of light and hard, and I have gotten 360km out of a FULL tank with 40km dte.

average fuel by the meter is 15.9L per 100km.

is this normal?

it seems like its chewing through it, but I will fill it up tomorrow or sat (if I dont drive it tomorrow) and see how much I put in and do the math.

I can shed some light on this situation, I get around 450-480 to a tank now, little bit of adjusting driving style goes a long way.

I still boot it around and that's what I'm getting combined highway/city.
