As I only just picked it up, I have had a lot of requests from mates to show them what its got, so its first week was a fair bit of hard driving around town. Its only averaged 20.8L/100.... hehe. So, numbers are not too bad for a generic CV tune. Once I learn self-control and stop planting the right-foot, they should improve dramatically. That with giving it a bit, hardly any freeway stuff and just country roads! I think it's pretty impressive. Broaders77 Member 73 Member For: 16y 10m 28d Posted 05/04/09 11:26 PM Share Posted 05/04/09 11:26 PM I'd been getting around 15.5 in my BF-T with the ZF, but now it seems to have dropped power and sitting on 16.5 (full city driving). Might have to get to a tuner :( Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43910-fuel-consumption-merged-topic/page/93/#findComment-855945 Share on other sites
Huntian Member 66 Member For: 16y 4m 16d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 06/04/09 12:33 AM Share Posted 06/04/09 12:33 AM My first 2000kms in the F6 have netted an average 17.1L/100kms... On my first drive though (200kms) on the freeway, just me, sitting on 110kph I was getting just under 10L/100km which is awesome... I think part of the problem is I only get to drive her 2-3 days every fortnight so I'm compelled to put the boot in... Avg speed is high at 60kph as I don't travel far to get onto the Gateway and then pacific hwy for the daily commute.I'm suprised how frugal it is, however I struggle to find places where you can really stay hard on the throttle for long. I'm attached to my licence. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43910-fuel-consumption-merged-topic/page/93/#findComment-861893 Share on other sites

Worst economy I got had been 350kms from a tank (the day I picked it up, was giving it heaps all day...lol). Best is 650kms on a trip to Bundy.
