Scubzz that feeling sucks I know it all too well, 65lt of Shell's finest, 450km range, drive out the driveway and it drops 100 odd kms off the range WTF? Ah well such is the price we pay from performance, wouldn't of bought a turbo if I was worried about fuel haha!

 My ubeaut FG XR6T has 1600 k's & its current Fuel average states 14.3L/100km.

City (frustrated) driving & I did manage to get it up to the 18's L/100km when approx 1 week old with alot of gunning & thrasing about with the throttle. Being a bit more sedate these days. Running prem 95 & 98 also...Now looking at an oil change this wkend to rid the metals filings that could cause some scouring or damage within the lightning bores of power...

Ubeautee! :spit:

I've done about 1500kms in mine mostly highway driving in the Territory to run it in.

When sitting on 140km/hr over 500kms I returned an average of 12.3l/100kms.

There was quite a few bursts to 180km/hr to overtake the grey nomads on the road this time of year, but nothing too drastic.

Mine's manual and all overtaking work was done in fifth upshifting to sixth once past traffic and decelarating back to the 140km/hr cruise control setting.

Then cruising at 110km/hr I noticed it would only ever get above 10l/100kms every once in a while, but mostly high eights/low nines.

All in all I think the fuel consumption is great for an engine with this much power and a car with that much weight.

My T has done just a little over 1300km and so far it is averaging about 12.6L/ 100kms. The driving has been a combination of local and highway driving.

My BA T used to average about the mid to high 14's for similar driving. So with a saving of about 2L/ 100kms I am quite happy with the result so far. Hopefully it will improve further as it loosens up a bit more.
