Gold coast to sydney and back on the weekend average 10.2 km's to the litre which is roughly 29 mpg not bad when you consider this is with driving though newcastle and sydney traffic and all so when overtaking I usally use all 269 rwkw's.

I'm not too sure, but I'd say about 400-450km on a tank depending on how hard I drive the car. But a lot of people on here have said they can travel quite a distance with the Distance To Empty reading 0, so I'd probably be able to do more before I actually ran out of petrol.

Hey, has any one seen a Vixen (Red) Typhoon?? And you know the writing on the side, is it still Red And how good does it look and would you change the color and what to? And can any one get a picture of a red one ?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

im guessing that the writing would be black on the typhoon. same as the "turbo" writing underneath the xr6 badge on the back of a normal T

Hi Guys

Just wondering what sought of fuel usage is common in the T. I am averaging around 18l/100km around town and about 12l/100km highway. Does this sound about right considering only 2200 kms on the clock?

Little bit high but they use a bit when they are babys. Mine has 17000 on it now and I get 9-10 on the open rd and about 12.7 around town.

In saying that its all about what you do with your right foot.

Keep it down and hard I say :crybaby:

Welcome to the site Dan

Those figures sound average, gotta remember that you didn't buy it to save on petrol you bought it for the power. I am sure you can reduce the consumption if you let ya granny drive it, but you are better off driving it like you stole it and enjoying the feel. As the engine gets a few more ks on it it will level out. Don't go by the read out on the dash, calulate your own figures to be sure what consumption you are really getting. By the way show us some pics of your car, or at the very least give us some specs.

Figures sound pretty good. When my car was stock I would have been happy with those figures. :crybaby:

Thanks for the welcome, pics on the way soon. still feeling my way on the site. You are right I bought it for the ponies but good fuel consumption would be a bonus.
