Ya I relies that as long as it's stock computer should be right and it's good to have it learn your way of driving instead of the bloke u bought it off I only do it one time like u say wouldn't do it after every tank that would be pointless

Yeah, its definitely an FG thing which is what the guy had whose post you were commenting on. Just didn't want him popping off the battery terminal after each fill and wondering why his car always runs like sh*t!

Because the dash trip reset only resets your trip meter not your average speed or your lph average. So if your average fuel is say 50 ks tripping reset on dash won't reset that only your trip meter will reset taking battery terminal of resets all your averages.

if you hold down the menu button for longer you'll hear a second beep and it resets them all. I do thing ever full up. I've got a Ba xr6 turbo

Stock standard no mods at all

10.3ltr/100. AVG Speed 51kph

Normal driving, full throttle here and there

I can't belive how good the economy is for the power that is on tap :-) !

I used to be at the same exactly. But after a long period of short trips in traffic it went up to 12.5 and average speed of 41kph. But new job and in 12 weeks its come down to 10.9 and average speed is at 54kph.

Had my new manual sedan for a month now. A mix of Sydney metro and a trip to Canberra has it at 1150Km's, averaging 11.9 L/100 and average speed of 48km/h running 95 then 98. Have been trying to hold back with the throttle at the moment till I get some more K's on it but must admit I'm finding it hard to resist. Traded my BA 6cyl 5 speed in for the turbo. The BA used to average around the 11 L/100 constantly so the step up in performance far out ways the extra fuel usage. I will be more than happy if it continues or even improves on it's current average!

Don't hold back too much on it. Give it a good mix of loads/revs/gears, up hills, engine brake going down etc. Break it in nicely and it will get a touch more power and not use oil. Just don't redline it or thrash it cold (15 mins warmup before any WOT)
