No need to make one big hole. You can take the air box out and drill a whole bunch of small holes on the underside to improve air flow.

Last tank I got 12.5L/100km calculated on my phone. Standard car, just with Growler CAI. I reset the average fuel usage trip when I bought the car and it's currently sitting at 13.0L/100km, it's dropped recently as I'm trying to see how economical I can get her to go. Mine is a manual and even with that 12.5L/100km I did overtake a few cars and although I did a fair few kms on freeways there's roadworks all over the place so it's not constant cruising. I generally get around 500kms out of a tank, which I'm stoked with given I got about the same out of my old Magna...but this car is so much more fun to drive.

396RWKW 16PSI, 6 Speed Manual, best I got was 490KM out of a tank.. at the end of the day it all comes down to how you drive it and who tuned it.. I drive my car and Crescent motorsports tunes it so happy days!!

^^ +1

It all depends on how you drive it and how much fun you have. I thought I would be getting better fuel economy after getting a tune done.

I am pretty sure that the fuel economy is better, but I have been having waaaaay to much fun and my economy has gone from 13 up to 15l/100.

Hi all

Just turned up 4000kms yesterday and have done a few trips so .....

On the open road I am getting just on 9.0, which gives me a theoretical range of at least 700kms, something I struggled to achieve with my old BA Futura. (I know, slightly bigger tank) This is all sitting just under 110kph so really happy.

Around town, forget it - just enjoy it.

My 08 FG Turbo is stock - gets between 12.4 & 12.9L per 100kms... and highway driving jumps down under 10L per 100kms easy.

I give it the boot every now and then but other than that I just take it easy...

Iv done 107xxxkms and its auto and only use 98 octain.

Cheers.
