Ended up going with Japanese Falken 452's all around. 235 on the front and 255 on the rear.Seem to do everything well at a competitive price....great bang for buck tyre I reckon....lovely to ride on tooI have these. Are good value for money. I got mine for 300 a corner (19 x 245 x 35 all round). I think they'll last for a few kays but they need some heat in them to work well in the dry, and although they are good in the wet, they aren't excellent. I used to run Yokahama 509's on my XY, and they where awesome in the wet and very doog in the dry. I love Yokies but they don't last very long. Thoughts thus far1/ Very quiet compared with the Dunlop Sports Max from factory2/ Car has been transformed from a handling POV , far superior turn in, far less understeer3/ You always know where the arse of the car is going and when it will let go4/ Sticky , but not that sticky, always going to struggle to get 350rwkw to the ground until 3rd5/ Ride has not been compromised in the slightest, if not improved. very smooth indeed ( 40 PSI allround)6/ Better wet and dry stopping distance7/ Wet traction still to be tested, but will be relative to right foot V stockImpressed to say the least, how farking good are those PS2s then Will let you know how they wear , but aint pretty so far
