devo Member 64 Member For: 16y 7m 26d Posted 26/03/08 05:07 AM Author Share Posted 26/03/08 05:07 AM thanks heaps for all the ideas... I know exactly what I would of done now... I say Would of because the shipping company bring the car down from Darwin and the Drop point here in Katherine had a lapse in comunication. Resulting in the car being left in the carpark and stolen within 90mins over night. So no xr6t for me at the moment! Or possibly at all considering I need to find another pre september 07 build to be eliigible for employee discounts which is how im affording to buy it in the first place. So if a Fever coloured xr6t turns up somewhere cheap, or anyone up north heres of as new parts forsale. Contact me on here, this is a serious situation as 3 different parties are involved trying to pass blame onto the others. Shipping Company, Shipping Destination, My Dealership (Not to blame at all, never took delivery of car as it arrived over easter)

devo Member 64 Member For: 16y 7m 26d Posted 26/03/08 07:03 AM Author Share Posted 26/03/08 07:03 AM had a look through the system and there are only 2 XR6 Turbos left in stock unsold anywhere in Australia, both Black and 6 speed autos, unfortunately they are not eligable for the employee discounts.Note for any NSW users, there are about 45 turbos ordered by the Government... so plenty of TMU turbos coming.Looks like I'll have to wait and see if the FG XR6 Turbo looks better in the flesh than it does in all our promotional junk... or G6E Turbo... ideas... I dont know the details, but it appears massive human error / error in judgement is to blame. The keys where left with the car, be it on the wheel, in the exhaust, on the sun visor... list goes on. devo Member 64 Member For: 16y 7m 26d Posted 27/03/08 06:28 AM Author Share Posted 27/03/08 06:28 AM Well as some of you may know, my brand new, yet to be delivered XR6t was stolen over easter weekend before I got my grubby little hands on it. Well its now been found in Darwin with 395km on the clock (the distance from here to there plus about 40km which may of been from test drives at Hidden Valley Ford previously anyway. Well the car is in pristine condition without a mark according to the Police, but natually that will be our decision in the end, as a cops pristine vs Ford Dealership & Staff who is buying the car may vary. It was the last manual in the world, none left in Australia or New Zealand so you can understand I do pray the car is truly still pristine so I can accept it. Just thought I would let you know anyway. Dave
