I have them in my engine, was lumpy as hell, had quite a few asking if it was a Turbo or an XR8...

Bit muffled but it was my mates sh*tty old phone, and that was with the Quiet XForce system...

well Atomic may be new shafts, but crow are def regrinds! we have had alot of problems with shimming cams as the lifter recess in the head are all different depths. meaning they all require all different sized shims.

the stage 4+ cams are huge compared to fg cams. I dont think you can use vct on them! stage 4 is the max you can go with using the vct.

here ya go jet, bit of reading for ya :)

Yes they are very lumpy they sound awesome, but you need fixed cam gears and make sure you shim them as atomic do not mention it!!

did you use the atomic fixed cam gears or another brand?

Correct stage 4 is the max on VCT but small additional overlap is gained off 4plus and 5 cams

In all honesty keep the 4's with VCT and have your cake and eat it 2

Wonder if the head can even take that much lift that the 4+ and 5 advertise 13mm is huge !!
