All I can say is good job keeping a cool head under those circumstances

Well done,

I remember when I was a young lad living with mum and dad, there were a few similar accidents. We lived in a street 2 houses down from a main rd, we had 1 car on its side in the front yard and another went through next doors lounge room. We heard a huge bang and when me and the old man went outside the dude was running down the road, so being good samaritans(spelling) chased him about 2 blocks caught him and brought him unwillingly back.

It sure makes the old heart and addrenelin pumping that's for sure.

had a fairly similar thing happen to us outside our old place. Heard a crash and went out for a look see. Find a young guy in the middle of the road on his back with most of his left leg femur poking out his knee. Thongs and helmet either side of the road and a trashed bike. He had been riding down the footpath with no lights when the neighbours came home and pulled into their drive and he T-boned them. Im a first aider so went to attend and straight it was obvious he had been on the sauce and was more worried about his 6pk smashed in a bag around his shoulder. Pretty horrific end to his evening.
