The poor thing was trying to sell me the interior protection package that included scotchguarding the rear seats and parcel shelf......in my BA ute :spit: Wasn't interested in doing everything for half price considering the cabin is only half the size though :verysad:

when I worked at nissan selling new cars our protection pack used to "cost" the customer $1795 yet what it actually cost the company was $395 what does that tell you.... :verysad: !

Oh gentlemen, I had a wondrous phone convo today.

I accompanied my gf to the Mazda dealership in Nth Canberra. She bort a Mazda 3 - no problem. My gf, wisely, said she didnt want any paint protection nonsense to the salesmen.

Anyway, a little while later a female salesman from the dealership calls trying to sell the fccking 'Mazda protection pack' or some such SHHT!

I was very friendly on the phone but was amazed at her genuine tone!! Fcck me! She said this protection pack was reduced by Mazda from 3100 to $1600! (Who ever paid that $3000???) Which includes tinting for free! (NOTHING is for free!!!) The tinting is valued at $495 - you cant buy the pack without it and get the price reduced!

Oh fcck me! She told me this tint did everything but fix the Pope's fccking hemmoroids! It reduces heat 70% which saves aircon units, keeps windows from shattering and some other fccking bullsh*t! She told me if the carpet protection failed and smells penetrated the carpet that it would be replaced under warranty. Oh lord, vinyl protection, blah blah blah...I dont want my f*cking carpets ripped out and replaced by a teenager on poor wages!

Oh fcck me she went on!

Rant over...I was totally polite on the phone but THAT, ladies and gents, is why I fccking hate car dealerships. They lie thru their teeth with their rubbery figures and bullsh*t deals.

FCCK ME! I'm bloody smart, u cant sell me crap - I see thru it!

Holy smoke

And I thought the paint protection that the Mazda dealer I worked at a while back was expensive

it's only wynns polymer crap anyway, it's not worth bugger all price wise and doesn't last long at all

I was just going through some paperwork from my Hyundai Excel... The original buyer ticked all the protection options for paint/trim/rust proof...

The state the paint is in now...its all oxidized!!! But I guess that's my fault as the paint has never been looked after on it....Should take it back for warranty and say the paint protection never worked... 9 yrs down the track!

What shood I do, am I intitled to go back and say what the fu*k, oh and just to make it worse my engine light is on, rang the mechanic and he said oh its probably just dirt in the fuel waiting to be burnt, I laughed at him and told him that's a load of sh*t, whether it is true or not I was pissed off as I only had my car 3 days. I havnt noticed any loss in performance, gone through the whole engine bay and cant find anything so I have to ring em 2moro and get them to sort it out. What do you guys think??
