Sometimes I wish that I didn't care about the car I drove. It seems that the nicer the car is the less I enjoy it. I used to drive around in an old XF s pack and didn't worry about a thing. I hit a roo in it doing 120 and just thought meh. This car I am almost too scared to take it out of the driveway. I get to the point where I am just too cautious and end up not enjoying it for what it is. JOY!

Cheers mate. I guess at least once I find a new bumper for it (if I can afford one) I can say that it has been modded as it won't be original anymore lol.

Fully Sik! At least the behind the headlight intake is getting more cold air pushed through the gap now as well! Ram air induction!

Just had my BA Phoon bar replaced after a small 'run-in' with a wallaby. Be ready for a fair shock when you price the new bar! Over $3000 unpainted genuine FPV. Doesn't sound like you have hit hard enough to damage the mesh, but that was another $750. All up over $6000 for what was relatively little damage. - OUCH!

I would be checking for a repair before I went for a replacement, might save you quite a bit of $$$$$$. Anyway hope it all has a happy ending for you mate

Dont worry to much after the first few times you run it up to a gutter then the stone tray catches as you back out and the WHOLE bumper starts to sag you wont notice the difference....

Quote from your other thread.

I do hate saying "I told you so". Sorry to hear. :tonguepoke:

I actually thought of that post after it happened. There isn't really that much damage but I don't think I will be happy unless I get a whole new bar. There are some deep gouges in it which would need to be filled and it might come up ok but I would all ways know it was there. If the bars don't come painted I won't be happy.

Yes its like that. The more hours work I put into my car the more anal I become about enjoying it...
