big effort there rob, we may have been able to drop the presure a little more - did you get the ceramic clutch plate yet?

Yeah, I'll bring a tyre pressure guage next time, so we can play with it a bit..... (the tyre pressures)

I've got the plate, but haven't installed it yet.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

You have to listen to your own advice, it got me over the wall.

You're so close it's only a matter of time before you're in the 12's.

How does your clutch stand up to it? I had to slip mine a bit, otherwise it was tramping until I backed off enough to stop the wheelspin. Hopefully with one ceramic plate I can still slip it a bit.

Does yours tramp?

I've been trying a few things mate, the clutch isn't too bad, not sure how much life is left in it though...

I've found with the stock tyres there is only a small window of rpm I can launch at - below 3200 it bogs and above 3500 it wheel spins of the line.

I'm actually going to try and shift slightly earlier this week, I'm pretty sure the power is dropping off above 5500rpm, I've been shifting at closer to 5900.

If this works it should dip me into the 12's with better half track MPH - and if it doesn't, I'll kill myself! lol!

Don't kill yourself, you'll get there. It'll put a pretty big smile on your dial when you do get it.

Do you have much lag?

Mine does. I figured it's better to rev it harder so when I change gears it's nearer the power band! Dont know if it works like that, but in theory it sounds OK.

I've also got a 4.10 ratio centre for it and hope that it will give me a better time. I was only changing into 4th just before the line so hopefully it will still be in the sweet spot and not need 5th.

I would like to sort the tramping out, do a couple of clean runs on the 3.45 diff and then put the 4.1 in to see if I can hopefully get into the low 12's.

not too much lag mate, its making full boost by about 2700rpm. I'll just see how it goes and try and get the launch down

F6 UTE - I'd love to know how you did that mate!
