I'm going to take my stock F6 down the Calder quarter this winter, but I'm trying to figure out what sort of burnout I should do on the Dunlop SP Sport MAXXs. I don't wanna leave 1/2 the tread lying around behind me if all I need to do it 2nd gear for a metre out of the water. Do they need much warming up?

Cheers.

that's pretty much all you need mate, 2nd gear, good rev, burnout off the water and when you see a good bit of smoke, that'll do it. Don't hop on the brake too much though, it will cause axle tramp, and these cars don't need any help doing that!

Good Luck!

That's what I'm afraid of. This thing axle tramps like a high school $lut's head on a saturday night.

In the wet if 2nd gear starts to spin under boost and I want to coast up a slight hill sideways, it'll tramp :stickpoke:
