well I have been looking up cars lately as per usual for a young teen (A Expensive Daewoo nut until recently)

saw pictures of the XR6Ts and the modifications that can be installed on them and wow

with alot of praying and saving I might be able to afford a second hand BA/BF XR6T in 12 months time (I hope haha)

about me: I love long walks on the beach and hope to find the perfect partner to share candle light dinners with </sarcasm>

all jokes aside I am a major pc geeks  that loves his holdens and recently fords

anyway heres a question and a challenge

I know in Victoria and NSW Turbos and V8s are more or less illegal to drive on your Ls/Ps

just wondering if anyone knows the legality of them in South Australia? I don't wanna hope to drive a XR6T then find out its illegal lol

and a challenge for all the photoshopers....

anyone up for creating a nice wallpaper(1280x1024)

of an XR6T in winter white with black side stripes with tinted windows(maybe sunroof?)

guess that's it aside from Hello all of you maniac Ford Drivers out there!

wow just saw that theres already a sticky for new members  maybe this won't get deleted because theres a question involved lol woops regardless

The XR6 Turbo and the modifications that can be done to it make it an unsuitable car for a teen. Your a new driver and even these cars as standard are not for you. They are prohibited in NSW and VIC for very good reasons as drivers your age are killing yourselves and others on our roads.

Consider a realistic car not just a fast car. Most of us all started off on a small car or an old car of some sort.

And wellcome.

Im a P plate driver with an XR6T, but I did get my p plates before these new laws came into place (im honestly not even sure with the old power/weight ratio is even close :owned:)

As a stock car I honestly dont find it "too" powerful but I guess that's just my opinion.

With the new laws IF you really still wanted one I'd say badge the turbo sticker although if cops do want to check our your engine bay you still stuffed but they wouldn't be randomly pulling over a xr6 "non-t" to check out the engine bay if your going by the road law's now would they!

edit.

My first car was a 96 EF Falcon, she had her good run for 2 years ;D
