Vazard Member 8 Member For: 17y 8m Gender: Male Posted 19/03/08 10:55 PM Share Posted 19/03/08 10:55 PM Hey guys,You may remember I was looking at an octane BFII a while back well I've decided to go cheap and just get the basics.So I bought a 2002 BA XR6T in Silhouette with 120,000 (bit high but you know) with standard sound and standard everything, I really wanted prem sound mainly for the LCD as I was planning on a carputer setup, but I am always buy the ICC later.Got it for 21k drive away.I'm also planning to stripe it octane (the side stripes, not the ones down the middle).Picking it up around 2:00 and then its straight to the exhast shop for a middle muffler chop.Will post pics later/tommorow :DOh and I bought it from a Expensive Daewoo dealership which I thought was funny. coupeboy351 Member 55 Member For: 17y 2m 17d Posted 20/03/08 01:34 PM Share Posted 20/03/08 01:34 PM Good stuff Vazard.....you'll probably be better off getting it serviced there too nar the Expensive Daewoo service guys suck as much as ford!!I bought a landcruiser from gibbons holden( Expensive Daewoo certified of course) and the rear axel was leaking so I asked for it to be fixed before I took possession and was told that it was all fixed.So I took it home and the axel still was leaking so I took it back again and again was told it's all fixed.Great, it now didn't leak so I drove it around for a week then put it into MY machanic for a service cause it was run a little rough and found it had NO oil in te diff!!!As soon as we put oil in it leaked again, NOT HAPPYSo I went inand chucked a huge tanty in front of all their customers and I told them if it's not fixed this time it's going to Toyota at their cost and finally they fixed it.I dont think it matters if it's ford or holden, they dont care once they have your money!!!
