I'm usually such a calm, easy going bloke, but that experience had me so very frustrated. Purely because it can't be that hard.

I've got 6 days off, so I'm going to tee up tint, a de-bunging, phoon cold-air intake, K&N filter, capa flash tuner and a tune for my TT. Bound to put a smile back on my face. Optus tried to ruin Easter, but FAILED!

Mate, I actually used to work for Optus standard DSL tech support. It was so easy to setup a static IP, just a few clicks and 5 minutes later it was done. Since Optus moved to ADSL2.......what a joke. Optus is owned by Singtel (biggest telco in Asia).....so they decided to use the same networking provisioning software and just modify to Australian conditions. I left 2 years ago and they still havent got their crap together.

I was getting staff discount on ADSL2 even after I left.......it's not worth it. Change providers.
